Lgf who

First known LGF post on the Fediverse

"Lgf Who" is a template post format used by many MAP users on the Fediverse and Twitter, it is believed to originate from Twitter.

Explaination

The format generally involves the use of Lgf and an adjective word, generally "who" or "that" to describe an activity, a behaviour or an opinion that the user desires in a Little Girlfriend. Sometimes the format is seen with Lbf or Lef, these meaning "Little Boyfriend" and "Little Enbyfriend" respectively.

Origin

Although the true origin is not known, it is believed to originate from twitter posts using the format "Little girl who" instead of Lgf who, and was shortened down due to twitter's character count limit.

As Twitter users were slowly getting bored of being constantly banned over and over by twitter's moderation, they started moving towards the fediverse where it is possible to have a lot more control over who your administration is, and as such, when selecting an appropriate instance, much harder, if not impossible, to be banned for no reason, like on twitter. As these twitter users previously using the format moved over, it was carried with them onto the fediverse.

The earliest known "lgf" post on the fediverse comes from the user Chizu, was posted on the fediverse instance anime.website and originates from 05/01/2021 (ddmmyy) 10:05:02 am JST
